Four phases

HOW DOES THE PROCESS RUN?

  1. 01

    Project review

    Loads, slab thickness, exposure class and pour programme are reviewed with your engineer, free of charge. Ground investigation and sub-base conditions are assessed at this stage too.

  2. 02

    Dosage design

    Fibre type and kg/m³ are fixed in writing, with the supporting standard and test data. Joint spacing and the curing programme are part of the same document.

  3. 03

    Batching & pour

    The fibre is mixed in the truck mixer until dispersion is homogeneous. Pouring by pump or mixer follows, then vibrating screed levelling and power trowelling.

  4. 04

    Cure & joints

    Surface hardener application, controlled curing, and joint cutting one to three days after the pour. Measurement records are handed over as a project dossier.

Step by step on site

WHAT HAPPENS ON POUR DAY?

  1. 01

    Concrete pour

    Fibre-reinforced concrete at the fixed dosage is placed by pump or truck mixer.

  2. 02

    Screed levelling

    The surface is brought to level and compacted with a vibrating screed.

  3. 03

    Power trowelling

    As the concrete begins to set, ride-on power trowels close the surface.

  4. 04

    Surface hardener

    A dry shake hardener that increases abrasion resistance is spread and worked into the trowelled surface.

  5. 05

    Curing after trowelling

    Curing compound or sheeting brings surface moisture loss under control.

  6. 06

    Joint cutting

    Control joints are cut at the planned spacing, one to three days after the pour.
